Whats happening with Microsoft?
Recently we caught up with one of Microsoft’s most senior engineers to talk about change and progress within Microsoft as well as ask the hard questions to see what’s going on and why they do the things they do.
Part of this round table session was to talk security, how they’re developing advanced threat analysis tools and building them into the products you might already have.
Staying on top of security and ahead of threats is a full time job for many many people, so having advanced tools that assist in the advanced detection, block and protect as well as provide detail on where the threat initiated and how it got into the company’s network is imperative for businesses, and we’re working hard on getting these systems active as quickly as possible.
The unfortunate thing about security exploits, hacking access and other nasties is that companies wait until it’s too late to do something about it. In most cases prevention would have cost a lot less that the stolen data and downtime. Microsoft is doing their bit as much as they can by including a lot of the advanced threat prevention and analysis in their new products and we’re certainly on a mission to protect our clients with this technology.
